Position Details

  • Designation: Assistant Manager
  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (EEE, ECE, Mechanical); semiconductor industry experience/handling
  • Experience: 7–10 years
  • Gender: Male
  • Age Limit: 28–35 years
  • Languages: English, Tamil, Telugu (added advantage)
  • Field: Purchase
  • CTC: Maximum ₹8–10 LPA
  • Candidate Location: Anywhere in India
  • Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Automobile
  • Automotive OEM / Tier-1 experience: Preferred
  • Transportation: Available; willingness to relocate to Tada is preferred. Bus connectivity is available from Sullurupeta, Tada and Gummidipoondi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle electronics commodity purchasing and sourcing for automotive requirements.
  • Develop and implement supplier and commodity strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop suitable suppliers.
  • Manage RFQ, quotation analysis, commercial evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, delivery and commercial terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
  • Identify and manage supplier risks, capacity and supply issues.
  • Drive cost reduction, localization and productivity improvement.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Finance and Program teams for sourcing activities.
  • Manage PO, LOI, contracts and procurement documentation.
  • Prepare sourcing proposals and present recommendations to management.
  • Lead and support Buyer / Commodity Buyer team members.
  • Ensure procurement targets related to cost savings, quality, delivery and compliance are achieved.

Candidate Requirements

  • 7–10 years of procurement / purchasing experience.
  • Strong experience in Electronics Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
  • Automotive OEM / Tier-1 experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of supplier management, negotiation, costing and RFQ.
  • Experience in cost reduction and supplier development.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team-handling experience preferred.
