Roles and Responsibilities

Process Analysis and Design

  • Evaluate existing workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Design improved processes using automation, Kaizen, and line-balancing methodologies.
  • Design processes for new projects and maintain existing project processes.
  • Evaluate existing capacity, identify bottlenecks, and propose additional line equipment to support customer requirements.

Documentation and Standardization

  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to process design.
  • Ensure process documentation remains accurate and standardized.

Project Leadership and Technology Implementation

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and change initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of automation tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Implement new technologies to improve NSIP processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, quality, and R&D teams to implement process changes.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of process changes.
  • Implement continuous improvement cycles.
  • Conduct audits to ensure new processes comply with company policies.

Finance and Budget Management

  • Identify process improvement opportunities that reduce operating costs.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for new process-design projects.
  • Evaluate the cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) of proposed process designs before implementation.
  • Forecast staffing, technology, and other resource requirements to support cost-efficient operations.

Team Leadership and Reporting Structure

  • Report to the Head of the Process Engineering Department (PED).
  • Manage process designers and junior process engineers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
